About BELIEVE, a premier electronic, world music and cultural festival at the Whistler Olympic Park in British Columbia, Canada. http://www.believefreedomfestival.com/ Description Get ready for one of the best open air venues ever! The Whistler Olympic Park is the ultimate location for festivals. The existing facilities are world class and offer visitors a multitude of areas to explore. Tucked away from urban congestion in the Callaghan Valley, with a warm and friendly atmosphere for people to enjoy themselves, the park has all the ingredients for an unforgettable experience. Now, for five incredible days and four spectacular nights you get to share in that spirit and let yourself go in this amazing setting. On display will be a diverse selection of international, local West Coast and Canadian talent as well as the BDI team, comprised of contemporary entertainers and artists. All are set to overwhelm your senses and take you on an unforgettable journey at this world class venue. The festival has four arenas to explore based around the infrastructure set up for the Olympics. Each stage, set and sound system will be custom designed and built for the event using the BELIEVE Summer 2013 theme. All of the areas are intimately connected by winding asphalt roads and a pedestrian trail system that runs throughout the complex. The trails connect the permanent sporting facilities to large sections of abundant space that will be used for parking and camping. Firstly, the main stage is The Galaxy, which is situated at the center of it all in the cross country amphitheater. The Galaxy will be the pulse of the party and feature the latest electronic music acts, performers, visual and laser displays as well as popping eye-candy by the BDI. Sun City is the second arena which is at the base of the ski jumps and as implied is predominantly a daytime area. Spend the day on the lawn and take in a lineup of ambient, reggae and world music with first class entertainment by the BDI. Between The Galaxy amphitheater and Sun City you will find the Global Village which embraces world native cultures and gives roots to the project. Here you will find artisan, aboriginal and festival traders as well as the Drum Café zone, which offers a chance to play and learn the djembe drum. Be part of a 400 drum interactive show that focuses on self expression and active participation. Lastly is the Cosmic Café, a chill and dub zone which is in the upper tier next to the Butterfly Camp. Relax whilst taking in stunning views of the valley and festival or groove around to the ambient tunes. Tickets at: http://www.believefreedomfestival.com/
